Cabinet should take responsibility for Gaol demolition - Isaac

As the debate continues on whether or not the Royal Goal should have been demolished, Minister of National Security, Hermangild Francis has insisted there was no breach of trust in the government's decision to tear down the building.

“I think it was time that we started doing the work that we promised the police officers. I think we should start with Dr Kenny Anthony and his attitude towards the prison and then we can do a follow up story," the Minister said.

Meanwhile, his colleague, Health Minister Mary Isaac believes Cabinet should accept collective responsibility for the demolition of the Royal Gaol as they were aware of the decision beforehand.
