Decomposed body remains unidentified

The identity of a badly decomposed body, which was discovered in a garden at Garrand Babonneau, to date, remains a mystery to law enforcement officials.

“We have not attached an identity to the body as yet and are still doing forensic tests to do so,” an official from the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force disclosed.

The December 19, 2019 discovery was made by residents in the area.

The body which appeared to be that of a male individual was believed to be that of either Cletus Hippolyte or Michael Blades, both of whom have been reported missing since September and November 2019.

However, forensic DNA testing dismissed the theory.
