Digicel assures families of missing US visitors of compliance

Digicel declared its hand today in a press statement to assure the families of the missing American visitors - Oscar Suarez and Magdalena Devil that the company assisted where possible during the search efforts for their loved ones.
The press statement said:
"Like all Barbadians, Digicel is concerned about the whereabouts and well-being of the two Americans, Oscar Suarez and Magdalena Devil, who went missing on Monday June 24th 2019.
Digicel is aware of some instances on social media where its efforts in this matter have been unfairly criticised and would like to make it clear that we are working closely with the Royal Barbados Police Force and regional Law Enforcement to provide assistance in whatever way we can."
On the Instagram page, where they shared the statement with their 20.5K followers, the caption added:
"We at Digicel have extended every resource requested and available to the relevant authorities throughout the unfolding of this tragic situation."
