Although CXC results have been released to parents, students, and education authorities, members of the public remain eager for the results.

The results were released on Tuesday for Ministry of Education officials and students at the same time; a first in the organization's history.

"The Ministry of Education, we did get the results last evening, pretty much a little bit ahead of the students, so we will be putting together our own analysis as it relates to that and engage the press," Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education Michelle Charles told Loop News.

CXC examinations were delayed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic which forced officials to reschedule and change the format of the entry exam which grants primary school students a spot at a secondary school.

According to officlas, this latest move will grant students the opportunity to know their results without having to wait on education officials.
