Pierre's declaration come amid an upcoming general election and a visit to the Bishop Charles Gachet RC Primary School formerly known as the Marchand Combined School, where he donated much needed sanitary supplies, notebooks, and tablets.
"Our children are excited to learn and to socialize with each other. We should provide the environment and tools to make sure that they are not robbed of their childhood or learning opportunities," the Opposition Leader declared.
"Let us continue to do our part, despite this Government's neglect and destruction of our country, I remain committed to putting the children of my constituency and Saint Lucia first."
While no date has been given for the general election, the Opposition, Pierre says, is prepared.
