St Lucians flock to beaches in pursuit of capsized money

Saint Lucians converged along the Cas-en-Bas and Dauphin beaches in the north of the island in search of a significant amount of capsized money.

“That money came from a boat which capsized earlier this week and the money just surfaced,” an official of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force explained to Loop News, Friday.

A voice note in circulation references that people had successfully obtained sums of money that resurfaced. The person spoke of getting guns in advance of looking for some of the funds.

Another voice note mentioned a sum of $3 million and that people were diving for money as it could be found all over the beach.
