Three foreigners drown in St Lucia

Three foreigners, including a University lecturer, have reportedly drowned in St Lucia.

Reports say all three victims are from India. Two of them are students of the Spartan Health Sciences University. The third person was a lecturer there. 

The incident reportedly occurred at a beach in the town of Vieux Fort on Saturday when a 'rogue wave' washed two of the victims out to seas. The third person drowned when he attempted to help them.

Two bodies have been recovered so far.

The identities of the trio are yet to be released.
