Vybz Kartel has been discharged from the University Hospital of the West Indies, where he had been hospitalised since Sunday, March 3rd.
The incarcerated dancehall entertainer was reportedly discharged from hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Valerie Neita Robertson, Vybz Kartel’s lawyer, confirmed that her client was feeling better.
“He is doing much better now, he has been discharged from the hospital, and we hope that he can maintain good health,” Robertson told Loop Jamaica reporter Claude Mills.
Checks with the St Catherine Adult Correctional Centre confirmed that an inmate had been hospitalised but the representatives refused to reveal the location of the inmate or when the prisoner would return to the institution.
