The patrons trickled in around 4:00 pm when deejays started the Beach Party, but by 10:00 pm when Busy Signal was slated to hit the stage at the Magnum Reggae Beach Party Xplosion at Pirate's Cove, there were more people than sand on Browne's beach.

Thousands paid for reggae and dancehall but got some soca, bashment soca and afro beats added to the mix.

Some came from St. Lucia, Dominica, Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados according to the flags being waved, to see the Bajan locals and Jamaican artistes Busy Signal and headliner Sizzla, but they also got a medley of Spragga Benz, Agent Sasco, and Wayne Wonder and 'Sexy Nigerian Butterscotch' Rotimi closed out the show with his afrobeats hit 'Love Riddim'.
