APOLOGY: Loop clarifies use of wrong image on COVID minibus story
Created : 19 May 2020
We at Loop would like to unreservedly apologise for an image which appeared with an article posted on Facebook entitled: "Concern that 2H minibuses not adhering to COVID-19 passenger limits."
While the subject of the article was an observed breach of the COVID-19 passenger limits, the image which appeared alongside the article on Facebook was a genuine error.
The image used was of a minibus belonging to a driver who had nothing to do with any of the concerns raised and who is a hardworking and upstanding member of the minibus community, and has followed all Government-issued guidelines.
This incident falls short of our high standards at Loop and we apologise unreservedly for any distress it may have caused.
We are proud members of the St Lucia community and we strive to apply the highest standards to the news we bring to you every day.
