Bail for 'Betty Clarke' and Nadeige Suffren on drug charges

Roberta 'Betty Clarke' Prudent and Nadeige Suffren were both granted bail following a court hearing on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
According to police reports, the two women were arrested at Praslin in May after 359.7 pounds of marijuana was recovered from a Suzuki Dzire motor car which had an ‘authentic’ pass from the National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO).
The two made a court appearance today and were granted bail each in the sum of $50,000 on the charge of possession and $55,000 on the charge of possession with intent to supply or suitable surety.
