Jamaica's Jhaniele Fowler broke her own Super Netball record for points in a match as the West Coast Fever defeated the NSW Swifts 80-71 on Saturday in Brisbane.

Fowler scored 70 points with 96% accuracy, to break her record of 66 against the Adelaide Thurderbirds in 2018.

Trinidad and Tobago's Samantha Wallace was perfect from the field, hitting 25 of 25 shots in a losing effort for the Swifts.

With the win, the Fever rise to third in the table on 30 points, and are two points ahead of the Swifts in fourth place.

The Swifts are next in action on September 19th against the Thunderbirds at the Cairns Pop Up Arena, while the Fever play the Giants in the earlier game at the same venue.
