Several charged in robbery/homicide of shopkeeper Andrew Joseph

Andrew Joseph, 76, was shot in the abdomen by a pair of masked armed robbers at his shop Andrew's Minimart in Mon Repos on November 9, 2019.
Joseph succumbed to his injuries on November 11, 2019.
Corporal Ann Joseph of the Police Press Relations Office spoke to reporters at a police press conference Thursday, February 27, 2020.
She stated that in the matter of the robbery and homicide incident, the following charges have been made:
Wayne Edward of Bisee, Castries was held on January 31, 2020, and charged for causing the death of Andrew Joseph.
France Theodore of West Hall Group, Vieux Fort was arrested and charged on Thursday, December 19, 2019, with the offence of conspiracy to commit robbery in relation to the homicide of Andrew Joseph. He is currently on remand.
Denzie Ferdinand of Lumbard, Mon Repos was arrested and charged for conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the Andrew Joseph homicide on January 11, 2020.
Eldridge Leon of Mon Repos was charged with aiding and abetting commission of robbery in connection with the Andrew Joseph homicide.
